grin, that was my thought when I read it ( though Asda came to mind ! )

if someone's unattractive to me either by looks or personality, then sticking them in a uniform isnt going to make a blind bit of difference. However, if i do like them then sometimes it can add a little something extra ...( and no, I havent moved onto Tesco ! )

I agree.

I have a thing for certain uniforms and will admit that someone who I think is ok, may indeed go up a notch when wearing it lol. It is like ther whole package thing.

Bit like seeing a fem and thinking she is nice then seeing her in thighboots and a corset and that turning to 'wow' lol

i get messages from guys saying "I wear a uniform..I can wear it for you if you wish"...one chap told me he was a marine then took offence when i asked what instrument he played....no sense of humour these chaps in uniform :0)

Ok a uniform in their day to day profession does look kinda smart and sexy and a bit authoritarian.... but when I see posed pics of men dressed up pretending to be a policeman, fireman soldier or whatever than I have a wee giggle to myself if they think a pseudo uniform has the same effect. Just my thoughts on it.

I have to wear a uniform that is often perceived as sexy and there is always someone dressed up in a version of it (shortened and with stockings) but I personally cannot see anything vaguely sexual about it. I do think firemen are sexy tho and i do think it make the guys look sexier. I like the New York cops too, mmm belts with weapons and the accessorised sunglasses does it for me.

I agree about the perception side totally, the uniform i wear is also perceived as being sexy...why??? Ive never fathomed it and never will....only one uniform that does it for me.....MARINE!!! yummy

I don't know why it is sexy but it just is.......but once I have inspected every inch of the uniform I then look at their face, and if I don't fancy it then it isn't happening.

Saying that, a traffic warden wouldn't do it for me........combats would though

Depends what it is a man is wearing in a military uniform does nothing for me and I must admit I don't like seeing them on mens profile. It's more a show off then anything. Give me a biker type man anyday White tshirt, jeans and biker boots with tats x

Uniforms seem to work. A run ashore in uniform will almost always be more successful than a run ashore in civvies.

It the guys that mention they are in uniform and off to wherever soon on service that make me laugh. They seem to thing that it guarentees them a chance of a meet.

It's more liable to turn me off than on xx

Mind saying that there is something to be said for a greek island swarming with american sailors all in their whites on shore leave, that sends the hormone levels racing. I was only 18 at the time!!!!

Oooh I don't know.

I have two firemen coming to give my house a fire safety check and fit fire alarms on Wednesday. I'm told they'll be wearing their full gear and carry ID. I was also asked if I required them to use a password.

I was so busy imagining two hunky fireman in my house that I thought he said "safe word".
