What to eat?

Birmingham

The post 5pm stomach rumbles are in effect and just on my way to Asda.

(Btw- have to say that BoT is possibly one of the best meals. Enjoyable as a breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. Or a quick snack!)

Lizzie has requested Cheese & Potato Pie. I want to add Corned Dog and onions to the mix.

Hash it up!

What sort of homely January meal should we think of eating tonight? What is playing on people's minds?

That's a good call.

Making some Caribbean Punch that'd wash that down quite nicely.

O yes! And so does your Jambalaya. Chicken and chorizo is a fantastic combination.

Very nice!

Well we ended up going to Pets at Home and some place called JTF. So no time to prep.

Cut up some smoky bacon and fried in a pan. Chopped onions and threw them in a wok. Once done onions in the pan with the bacon.

And scrambled some eggs in the wok. When nearly cooked, mixed the bacon and onions into the scrambled eggs.

A few rounds of warbutons toastie bread with olive oil butter (didn't have my Kerrygold Irish) and made a decent quick, but naughty sandwich washed down with a cuppa!

Peaches and Cream for desert.

Not the most glamorous dish, but it hit the spot!

1 of my favourite meals. I make it with quinoa now, took a little experimenting to get right.
