Edinburgh.

If you have a mutual friend get them to send a message as them to say something. If you don't sack it off.

no matter

Post in the Forums,. say you sorry made a mistake and you would like to speak with them again.. Then if they want they can see it and message you. Or write an apology in profile and when they unblock to check you out they can see it was a mistake

But once blocked by someone, trying to contact them or get a message to them through the forums or a mutual friend is against the sites T&Cs so my earn you a temporary or maybe a permanent ban.

A lady sent me a lovely message this one time. We had a chat, everything was fine...

One day, I logged on, went to reply to a message and it said "sorry, you've been blocked by the user". She'd blocked me!!!

Down to this day, I still have no idea why! She was the one who started the conversation with me!

Anyway, some people are just nuts! If someone has been immature enough to block you, move on.

If you don't know them, or haven't met them, like everyone else has said, move on.

If you have a relationship with them, then surely you have their phone number, Whatsapp, kik, Skype or whatever to apologise.

Otherwise, is it really worth it?

Alternatively, have an update on your profile saying "X I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional". If they are that upset, then they may check in.

Otherwise, they probably are not that bothered about you & do you really want to go to so much effort for something that isn't reciprocated?

We've been blocked, for reasons we've never been able to work out. It can be upsetting when it is for no fathomable reason and it takes some effort to just let it go. It gets easier the more it happens.

Unless this person is important to you ie outside world friend or family etc then why care however if they are I'd guess you have other means of speaking to them

Attempting to get round a block by any means is against the rules. Best bet is simply to let it go.
