Mine is without a doubt, An American Werewolf In London. Love the horror-comedy genre, and the special effects are amazing

I think American werewolf is the film I'd like to see remade most. The film is brilliant but let down by bad sfx apart from just after the I'm still not hungry scene. With the advances in technology it could be mega scary if remade

No way. The movie is perfect. The transformation sequence was ahead of its time and won the movie an academy award for best make up.

I was glued to the transformation scene the first time I watched it, it's so seamless and organic. I think if it was remade today CGI would ruin it. I loved the Undead make up too.

Too easy to judge, people forget that back then it was pretty scary. My own personal fav The Thing out round the same time with effects as scary if not better.

Nooooooo!!! The undead make up is awful and could be so much better. btw I was referring to the transformation scene when I mentioned the I'm still not hungry scene. That's the best part but it could be so much better these days

American werewolf in London is phenomenal, a really well made classic.

Otherwise I find them a bit silly and don't get scared. The comedy ones cam be ok.

Can't stand torture porn like Saw. Nothing engaging about it.

Now Event Horizon, that fucked my head up for days. I'm really glad I saw it at the cinema, because it was a really good film, and I'm equally glad I'm never seeing it again.

I like the oldies, 70's and 80's ones Friday 13th, nightmare on elm street, Halloween, hellraiser, soft spot for hammer house.

Fun but find a good psychological thriller far scarier

Candyman

Blood and gore don't really bother me............ but there is a scene where the Candyman and a girl kiss, he has a mouthful of wasps or bees that really made me cringe.
