book a £9 room at Travelodge? They're advertised, but click on them and the cheapest I've found is £19.50.

It's still a good deal, but it's double the advertised price.

Also if you book a 2 night stay, the price goes up!!

Torquay

The trick is to make them seperate bookings when going for a two or three night stay.......it's done to deter sales reps block booking rooms

I managed to bagged a few nights at 9 GBP, and some at 12.50 GBP, so I am all set from next month till the end of Mar 2011!

It was frustrating though, as the site was busy and kept coming up with error message.

I persisted and got lucky!

Cyprus

5 nights in Blackpool (don't ask why). All nights at £9

1 night in Bath (so we can try Bath Swingers Club) £9

2 nights in Cambridge (to annoy HPC) £9 each.

I think I got a bargain at a total cost of £72.00

I normally pay that for one night!

Signed up to the Travelodge website thingy - get sent the £9 deal info , but they`re at really random locations on really random dates - so not much use to us but do conform with advertising standards !!!!!
