Am I stupid ???

Why oh why oh why can I not get it into my stupid head that Anchovies are fish and not vegetables ???

How many times I've ordered a pizza with anchovies in the misguided belief that it would be covered in some kind of vegetable ..

Does anyone else think that an anchovie is a vegetable ? or am I stoooopid ?

For anyone who doesn't know - an anchovy is a stinking horrible fish - part of the Herring family. It is dry, salty and nasty - It is not a frigging vegetable !!!!

i dont eat fish .ditto

but.........

when cooking with them, they disappear ya know. like break up and add flavour and not nowt fishy either.

Simple answer buddy is to stop eating 'crepe' (like pizza's) and get some propper food down you! Ya never get none of that continental anchovy rubbish in a good meat pudding.

worcestershire sauce is made with anchovies! Was brought over by the romans, they ate this fish sauce with everything.

Anchovies are fooking lovely - Caesar salad - worcester sauce (although tamarind root - used lots in Thia cookery is the main flavour) and great on pizza. Unfortunately the culturally deprived palette of our area doesn't think so and always have to ask specifically for them. Shame anchovies aren't compulsory as they are pretty good for you too all the calcium and fish oil - ok maybe a tad salty but still fabulous. They have tested this before and amazingly what you eat can be tasted in your spunk so if you like ancovies you know where to cum lol!!

Just the idea of a Fish Pizza is revolting. Who on earth thought anchovies would make a great p[izza topping. If you like a lot of salt on your food, put er... feckin salt on it.

But to answer the OP: Next time you order a pizza and get anchovies confused with artichokes just say to the guy:

I don't want that topping that smells like a prostitute's knickers after a busy night.

He'll know what you mean. hehehe

well to be honest i didnt know what an anchovie was until now and by the sounds of things i really wouldnt want to try one either and pizza and fish sounds disgusting ham and mushroom for me please!!!!!
