"I used to love the Dave Lee Travis show on Radio 1 - he was so funny. He used to run a phone in quiz and I always remember one guy on it - Dave asked him "what is the name for the leader of an orchestra" and he replied "a baton"! Dave could not continue the show for laughing. Television wise, I used to like Vision On and especially Morph. There was also a weekly programme called 'Thriller' which was a bit scary but very good." Didn't the do "Snooker on the Radio" on a Saturday morning ? He's on Magic 1152 now .. still as good as he was too, sheme he's on a 2nd rate radio station

Navy Lark as mentioned but also things like Ray's a Laugh. Beyond our Ken. HHHancock's Half Hour. Magic stuff and never a "fuck" mentioned! For TV, Blakes Seven. Jeez, that lass (a villian I think) with the ultra short hair. Yum yum... _rummps x

"I used to take my radio to bed with me and listen to Radio Lumenbourg under the sheets - I will always remember the DJ announcing "The King, Elvis Presley has died" " I used to do exactly that except I was listening when first they played 'All shook up'. I went out the next day and bought it. My very first record. Funny cos I never liked any of his others.... _rummps x

FFS where have those years gone ?
