People who never seem to meet anyone on the site but have friends lists as long as my co... erm, arm?

I don't get it. This isn't Facebook. Whats the advantage of just getting friends?

it satisfies their ego and makes them feel popular and loved

There are loads of profiles here like that. We see couples regularly at socials that don't play at all, not even soft, but they enjoy being on the perifery and enjoy the scene from a distance.

Not for us, but each to their own

Socials meaning clubs right?

Never been to a swinger club, only fetish clubs.

Socials can be at clubs or pubs, but are just a gathering of people to get together and chat without the pressure of having to play.

we've met some nice people at social get togethers.

no socials meaning social nights that are held quite frequently around the country. More often than not they are non playing nights where you can meet like minded people and maybe carry on the fun back at a hotel

There is a "big one" coming up soon, end of August at Chameleons at Darlaston, organised by the Pussy Posse.

It's a social with the added bonus of being at a club so you can play if you want. You will also meet loads of fellow forumites at the same time.

It will be a great night, we are really looking forward to going

Newcastle and Gateshead

a lot of people on my friends list are potential meets... because for me it is friends first and then anything from there is a bonus......

also with regards to socials they are a brilliant way to get to know and meet people without the pressure... so of like "try before you buy" so to speak....

They like friends and to be honest its their business not really yours to question.

Live and let live

Actually if it's on a public site, where I can see it, it's totally mine to question.

A matter of debate. If you concentrated on your own profile you might get more meets.

Would you like to be slightly more petulant and insulting? Adding inane emoticons after it doesn't make it nice.

Perhaps we don't have many meets because in the 6 weeks we've been members, we actually have some standards.

Whatever, you obviously feel insults are an easier way to attempt to show your maturity. Well done.

your the one who can't understand Why people people do things. That shouts a lack of intellect to me.

As for other people. Well if they chose to have lots of friends or not is really not something you need to dwell on as its each individuals choice what they do.

Icons i can add what i like or not so don't fret about it it makes you look a little silly to be honest!

actually he does have a point in a way...

maybe, just maybe what he is suggesting is to concentrate on what you can determine and not to always question the way the other go about getting to where they are getting to....

so in that sent your reply is probably a lot ruder than his...

also quite ironic that when someone questioned the way you go about yours that you got very defensive... and yet you questioned others......

It puts me off people if they have a massive friends list and no verifications,I don't care if im wrong but I just assume that they want to see what I have in the private galllery,my friends that I do have will tell you theres nothing naughty in there anyway, just a couple of face pics

Some will clearly say there are here to swap pics and are more into that than meeting people.......thats cool but not for me

Even when you have met some guys all they seem to want is for you to send them pictures by mail or phone and not meet again ..whats all that about ? i like to get my hands on people for real not in cyberspace ?......im very careful about who gets my pics !!

and neither do i.... but i think the point being put across is they people will use the site a million different ways, and if it works for them then good for them... there is no right or wrong..

so for example.... if someone didn't agree with what I just said would it be "adult" of them to block..... probably not... however that is there right to do it a million different ways they like.....

maybe "tolerance" is what we should out of this entire discussion..... if something doesn't feel right, or doesn't work.... move on.....
