recently i was invited for a meal with a couple, with the hope of play afterwards.however i got a bit cheesed off when they wante the bill to be split 3 ways, they said it was only right.

was i wrong or were they cheeky buggers?

thoughts please

i got invited after they asked to meet,when i got there they said they had booked a table at a restaurant and asked if i fancied going for a meal, get to know you session.......so the way i see it i was unprepared for that and took it as a hospitality thing on their behalf

i don't mind if it was the wrong call, just wanted opinions

thats just what i was thinking? if i get invited out i expect to pay my way, if a guy asks me to a club i always go halfs on the entry even tho its cheaper to go in as a single female for me, and the same with hotel costs, i think it was more cheeky of you to not expect to pay your own way to be honest

yes...if it's single girl...hi-probability the guy of the couple will pay for both...it's a sex inequality but well...depends on the guy if he wants to be a gentlemen...:D

Though I would say, the girl should be ready to pay for her meals...not equal...but for what she eats, drinks, buys...etc...etc...then if the couple offers to pay...mala suerte...:D

On the other hand...my partner said if he were to play as single guy...and end up meeting with a couple...he would probably pay for the total bill...:P

Not in swinging terms no, but I can't see us in that situation as we play with couples and its normally a battle between the men on who is getting the next round in lol......sharing bills has never been an issue with us with couples or single men, but we never assume that anyone will be paying for anything,why should they?

i though i just did, i am female and i do meet alone, if a guy asks me to a club bearing in mind for me its free or very little entry frees and usually no membership fees, if i go with a guy i always pay half and going as a couple it alawys costs me more than going alone and them alot less, if i do a hotel meet i always insist on paying half towards the room, if a guy messages me and asks me to meet then suggests getting a hotel i never assum hes going to pay for it just because he asked me, suppose we all see things different, maybe if you was female they would have offered to pay for the meal but any female with any decency about them would'nt let them, i know i would'nt have but thats just me i like to pay my own way that way in not obligated to anything....

now you turn it on its head, if a single woman messaged you said she liked your pics and would you like to go for a drink would you expect her to buy them all night?

i went on a meet with a very handsome guy, he took me to a very very expensive restaurant , it was a fantastic night, wen the bill came i immediatly offered to pay half... i think its the done thing in this day and age, obviously he wouldnt accept, but i offered...( even tho the bill was hugeee) lol xx

Its a chivalry thing with men is'nt it? its the done thing to pay for a lady,it may not be up with sexual equality and I know most women will offer to pay their way,but I also know that most men would'nt accept even though they appreciated the offer....

but does that mean that some men will expect a bit more than you're prepared to give if they have paid for the food drinks hotel ect? not playing as a single fem I don't know what its like but there must be some of you that have felt that way? and it must end up a really awkward situation

if I go to a meets house, I (nearly) alway take wine, and if its a cpl hosting I take flowers/choc strawbs/ect.

If its a party I try and take something that is choosen just for the organisors.

Theres no expectations there, I just think its nice and I am always delighted if I have a friend bring me flowers/wine ect

I always pay my way,I don't like to be beholden, and when going to anyones house male female or couples I never ever turn up empty handed, a gift of flowers wine etc is always polite. I too split the entry to clubs etc. and never expect a companion to pay. Same with hotel rooms, I usually pay for my own. I feel more in control of any situation that way and safe. xxx

i think most women will offer to pay their own way because that way they don't feel obligated to do anything they don' want to, certainly for me thats how i feel, if i went out for a meal with a guy and didn'nt fancy him and he paid for the night i think that would be giving off the wrong signals to him, and i think most guys would expect a shag at the end of the night if you had spent a evening with them letting they spend money on you, saying that if i did fancy them i'd still pay my own way but just out politness, but if i did'nt like them it would just be easier to say thanks for the night but your not my type if they had'nt paid for me all night
