just had a discussion regards costs for rooms etc.

We have always gone with the idea that cpls split the costs, single guys pick up the tab, and if you lucky enough to meet a single fem, you pay for everything?

This is how its normally been done with us over the years, but just spoke to a disgruntled guy who says different, without starting a war (please) any ideas lol

I've only ever met single guys at hotels and have always split the cost.

There was one guy who demanded that he paid for the room. I left him to check out and he didn't bother which meant that the cost of the room was taken from my card as I'd booked the room for us. Never again will I fall for that one! Just glad I didn't leave him half the cost in cash when I left!!

that single men are supposed to be so grateful of getting a meet they are expected to pay for it all!

Seeing that everyone involved should be getting something out of the meet shouldn't the cost be shared?

But seeing as I don't do hotel meets I could be out of touch

Well, if everyone is there to have the same fun, then the cost should be split by person, IMO.

Nobody is better than another in these circumstances, so if a couple meet a single, then it should be split 3 ways, if two couples meet, then 4 ways or half per couple, and so on.

We only meet couples and therefore would expect each to pay their own way, however, on one occasion we picked up the tab for a couple but we agreed this in advance.

As we're unable to accommodate, we've travelled many miles for a meet, we'd never, ever, ask or expect the other party to partially fund our petrol costs.

Besides as a single female I know if the meet isn't to my liking the room is mine and I am safe, I can't be left stranded. As said before, food or a club etc. can be paid for in return. xxx

When I started swinging, it was always the single guys who picked up the tab for a hotel meet..... that was standard(ish)

But to be honest, it was mainly because single guys are the ones that tend not to turn up and end up leaving a couple or single female with the whole bill. That is still true these days with so many people being armchair knob jockeys, can't get away from the missus or just chicken out. (and I'm NOT just talking single guys here)

Personally, I would insist he books it on his card and I'd give him half the cash.

We always pay for the room as we will be staying the whole night anyway,if we want the guy to stay then are happy for him to contribute if he offers......most do very happily but the cost would be split between numbers sharing

I don't see why a single guy should be made to pay for everything....it seems really unfair and more than a little arrogant, after all you're all going to be having fun on the night and you need them as much as they want you

i am a single parent my ex has kids fri nite till sat nite so i can accomadate and cook a nice meal for the right guy/couple.....if the guy or couple want me to go to a hotel and have drinks and a meal i expect them to pay as i cannot afford and i am willing for them to come to my nice clean home... and i can entertain them there...lol... for free xx

I should think really in fairness it all should be shared (hotel meets for fun). Different if its just a first meet at a pub etc. Some single guys (well most in my experience) expect and want to to pay for drinks/meal/lunch. Only ever once met a guy who asked me for half the tab

I would split costs halves or thirds or however depending on the situation if we can't accom but in lady babes situation then I can see how she would not want to pay when she can accom easily.

well I am hoping to cum to Scotland in the summer was in Peebles just before xmas but that was a flying visit lol

so when I do stay over we need to clarify bhata all the towels and toiletries are mine on the first visit any visits after

that there all yours lol

please bear in mind I am scouse after all and do have to uphold the tradition lol
