When I went to Uni it was evens as to whether my folks would move house without telling me.....

If you get chance, try and visit her for a night out when she has settled in. Yummy mummies, which I am sure you are one, were always welcome in the student uni bar

Damn, I am singing that in my head now !

to the OP...trust me, they don't stay away for long, soon you will have a weekend of washing to do when they bring it home

I hated our youngest going off though so I know what you feel like

On the plus side, you will get more time for yourself

I am taking my youngest back to uni on friday for the start of his second year.

I remember that empty feeling when I had to leave him and all his unpacked stuff behind.

One year on and he is eagerly packing and ready to move into his room in the house that he and is new friends from uni will be renting this year.

The time really does go quickly, particularly for the young people!

Hope your daughter has a fantastic time in what will likely be a very happy and memorable experience. x

You are too healthy looking for her! The emaciated, slightly quirky look does it for her!
