perhaps I should have said Women shop because they know they will see something that they think they want and therefore can't live without ....... how often do they take up all the wardrobe with things that they ask us guys 'does my bum look big in this' or 'does this make me look frumpy' or 'do I look like mutton dressed as lamb'? ffs they bought it cos they wanted it so why ask us, we know whatever we say will be wrong!

Well you know how long I've been married and I still haven't mastered the art If I tell the truth I get shouted at, if I lie I get told you are only saying that cos you know its what I want to hear and if I hedge me bets by saying no comment I get a clip round the ear and no sex for a month!

I found this out when I sorted my make up out the other week and put it in a new make up case (which of course I needed...) and realised quite how many similar lip glosses I had... all which were desparately needed at the time!!

Worst shopping related mistake I ever made was to go food shopping for supplies to stock the caravan for a week, with my wife, my mother and my grandmother.

I got lumbered with the trolley, and once inside, they all went in diferent directions, instead of doing the sensible (man) thing of going up and down the aisles, one person scanning the left side, one scanning the right.

Worst shopping trip ever, and then they blamed me for the time it took!!

i will beg to differ!!!! i know someone who will buy things cuz they WANT EM...hes a male and he posts in the forums!!!! guess who?? lol....lots of guys like to shop for clothes.....ladies just like to shop for everything cuz no matter what we go out to get we can always fins a shoes shop!!!!

Put it this way - i have to leave the credit cards at home every time i go to a bike shop for some small, essential part - otherwise i will come home with a 2-3K bike and go bankrupt!

I go shopping Im like a whirlwind I know where Im going and what for.

Hubby goes shopping he dithers and mucks about going between shops pricing things and wasting time so I wait and wait and wait til he picks a daft game and then I hit the shoe shops as punishment for his dithering

Typical example:

I went shopping last Wednesday I left the house at 10am, got everything I wanted including the food shopping, and trying on clothes. I was home for 1:30pm.

Hubby took the kids for new games today, they left at 9am it is now 1:30pm and still they arent home!!!

Proves my point I am a great shopper

You guys think we girls are bad ... My Paul has a shed and garage full of tools and allsorts, yet came home one day with one of those multi tool thingy's ... what do you want that for I said, it cost £50!!!! Oh it'll come in handy one day he said ..... men!!!!!
