Polite request for face picture

couple contacted us asking if we would meet up... replied and sent a face picture of us two asking nicely if we could have one back...Answer was dont u read profiles we dont send pics at all...how should we know how we are meeting??? Am lost here

how the hell would anyone want to meet without seein a face pic and are they so criminally ugly or have somethin to hide??

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, we all like different things, but if someone had the courtesy to send us pics if we'd asked for them we would always reply without fail even if its a thanks but no thanks. Z

Another thing that is bugging me (ooooerrr missus) is that it clearly says on my profile that do not send a friends request unless they ask or we have chatted first. Yes you have guessed it people still do send them.

They might think its rude of me not to accept their request but if they can read the Queens English they might understand why i have rejected them.

Agree with what your saying, but the OP never said the other party asked for photos of them, and going by the response they got they must have it written on their profile that they dont send face pics out.

Unfortunately some people prefer cam 2 cam rather than sending face pics on the internet.

If they dont cam either then thats asking to meet blind, and thats a whole different story, but the OP never mentioned this.

We've done a few blind dates, and have been pleasantly surprised too. Kate and I actually met on a blind date so it doesn't fill us with any fear at all We understand, it's not for everyone, but you can always walk away.

Have to say though, we agree and empathise with OP, that if someone asks for pics, it's polite to receive theirs by return.

I don't send pics. I have nothing to hide. My profile says I don't send pics. It says I will let you see me on msn. Or show you a pic on msn .. I don't and wont send pics. I can understand people not wanting to meet without a pic.

I have met blind. Just for the hell of it. I don't go expecting to play. I go expecting to meet a human being which is better than staying home doing nowt. And, they might just be a potential sex partner for the future.

There's more of a buzz beforehand from that than meeting with someone i've met before even if I really like them.

For the record. I don't consider myself ugly. I am not shy.

Im only telling you this for an alternative perspective.

Did they say they liked the look of you ??

I have face pics in my private gallery, just so people can check that I don't have a beard or anything (beards and crossdressing are a bit of a no no for some reason).

Personally, I wouldn't ever ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't do myself. I think a few people on here are a bit one sided in what they are prepared to do themselves and what they expect others to do for them.

Each to their own, I guess.
