That hasn't really been my experience. I've got quite a dry, teasing sense of humour and, for the most part, it goes down well. Occasionally something doesn’t land, but that's fine Everyone has a different sense of humour and a different idea of what they want from an interaction. I tend to ease into the silliness and teasing rather than going straight in at full force, and you can usually get a feel pretty quickly for whether someone enjoys that kind of banter. I'd rather show some personality and occasionally get it wrong than play everything so safe that the conversation becomes bland. | |||
