So faberinos, how do you please yourself? No not like that!

I needed a bit of cheering up recently and I happened to walk past HMV, I popped in for a browse and came out with a few records (they have a good selection in the 3 for £66 section) and I instantly felt happier and distracted from what had made me sad in the first place. I think we all need something that gives you a little pick me up, even if its only temporary.

So what do you do for yourself that can make you happy? Again though, not like that.

I will treat myself.to a new lego i have wanted. Buy something halloween related or tim burton related.

Or simply a red hot bubble bath with a good book is always a winner too

Take the dog on a long walk

Do something creative

Or just close the curtains. Stick a horror film on, rum and snacks.

Zumba, it really is my happy place. And at the moment it really is my safe place

If I'm not dancing I'm planning my choreo, if I'm not doing that then I'm shopping Zumba clothes 🥰

Energy booster, mood booster with a full body workout

Good question, it depends what type of cheering up I need.

If Im cross then the gym is good, feeling a bit bleugh then getting some fresh air often helps 😊

Sit in the woods, quiet, hidden, unseen, observing the wildlife, shooting grey squirrels. Got a few pheasants, jays, all manner off tits, nuthatch, blackbirds, thrushes, roe deer, the odd fox, even a spotted woodpecker that visit my feeders.

Solihull and Romford

Went to a tat shop yesterday and picked up a double DVD of Adelle at The Royal Albert Hall. For the princely sum of one pound.

So love getting a bargain.

I go to the gym or for a long walk. I listen to a podcast or a selection of songs to distract me. Sometimes I'll treat myself to a meal in a restaurant or street food.

Coffee at my favourite café. Then get out notebook and pencil, open Nectar App and write down the special offers that appeal to me, ie reduced prices or bonus points. Finish my cuppa and head off to Sainsbury's.
