The man behind a lot of the greatest 80s and 90s music and who reinvented a few careers including Madonna with his inventive production.

I still have a particular fondness for his Bass-o-Matic stuff, particularly Fascinating Rhythm. "Devastatin speakers is his claim to fame" and that Hendrix sample.
