Absolutely not.

It will destroy condoms, and the same goes for coconut oil or anything oil based.

Without condoms, while not very toxic, it is still not safe and can cause irritation and dryness to the muquous tissues.

Saliva is always available, it's warm, wet and if applied with the tongue can cause a desired sensation

To be clear I would never actually use WD-40 as lube, kimda thought that was obvious lol

On the other hand I've got half a pack of Dairylee that is nearly past it's best before date.

Sweet almond oil is good for massages and as a lube. Don't use it with condoms or silicone toys or if you have a nut allergy.

Also dam good to cook with and doesn't solidify like coconut oil or have a strong odour. It's cheap too for tight fisted gits

"If you run out of lube is WD-40 a half way alternative?"

Never. You need to use Castrol GTX.

WD40 is a water displacer and should never be used as lubricant. It's specifically designed to drive out moisture.

Hoping it's a joke as pretty sure lubes cheaper than wd40

Of course it is. Just my warped sense of humour.

Castrol-R might be better: veg-oil based (castor-oil) and less likely to provoke an allergic reaction, and there is also that super smell when it gets hot - so familiar to anyone who enjoys classic car race meetings!

WD40 is good for initially loosening stubborn dry nuts and screws, but it doesn't have decent lubricating stamina.

A GL5 EP 80w90 gear oil would be much more suitable for high mileage satisfaction and stamina

If I was really going down that route I'd just use margarine. I'm not wasting good butter.
