The kick out at Simone was 1998, the free kick against Greece was as captain in 2003. So the free kick came after the sending off. As for your point do any of them deserve a star? A honour for services to sport/entertainment? Let’s be honest I’ve worked for my employer for the last 25 years, I’ve rarely been sick, I worked through COVID as an unrecognised key industry. What these top stars earn is that not reward enough. The average earnings of an EFL league two player is £2000 per week that’s more than the average for most in a month. On top of that they get endorsements etc. Does Beckham pay for most of his clothes? Probable not he’ll get them for free as a walking advert. Most top sportsmen and women earn far in access of the common man. Is that not reward enough? | |||
