I think there's a lot of valid reasons why gay/bi men won't openly admit it. Internal conflict, the stereotypes, concerns about their own masculinity and internalised homophobia. So they chose to keep that side of them hidden.

It's not really up to me to label another guy sexually

I've been meeting guys since my early 30's, many of them in straight relationships, many of them with kids

It wasn't a question I normally asked, but I found they'd either tell me anyway or were so paranoid about meeting that they gave the game away
