Morning all,My youngest son is currently in India with his eldest daughter for her 21st,he keeps getting stopped by both men/women asking for a photo because they say he's so handsome

So out of curiosity do you get attention everywhere you go? Be honesty it's not about vanity but fact

I did when my hair was long. It was long, wavy, black and shocking pink. Very eye catching. Always shocked me when someone said about it though because I could never see it and forgot it was that colour. I know, that sounds daft. That and to me it was normal. It was just me being me.

Not everywhere I go no.

But I have some Indian friends and when my youngest was born they used to touch his hair all the time especially my friends mother.

He had silver white hair at first and apparently its very lucky in their culture as its so rare to see.

My daughter was a 'pink girlie girl' aged 5, and so I dyed her hair bright pink - she loved it. However, the outrage from other parents at her school, after which the school introduced a policy against non natural tones.

I lived in SEAsia in the 1960s. I was a blond white child in a small town where there were probably only three other white families. It was like being in a zoo.

Not something I'm used to, lol.

Although as a student, at a late night dive in a seedy area of my old home town, an acquaintance once told my then gf that she must feel very safe with me, as I looked too scary for anyone to mess with us. Compliment or insult? 🤔

So I was born at quite a young age, around about two I think, And born into a family of preachers and traveling medicine women. We had a small pet octopus that I used to keep in a pickle jar, sans pickles obviously. His name was Jerome.......

Yes. Only due to my height I daresay.

Walked into a Pub in Ireland and the whole Pub stopped talking and stared at me. Twas like that pub scene in An American Werewolf in London. Freaked me right out.

Also been approached by Asian holidaymakers in New York. We were at The Statue of Liberty and they wanted their photo taken with me. No idea why, but did it.

Supermarkets are a nightmare for me.

I’ve been randomly complemented upon my beard and sometimes T-shirts by ladies of my age group.

I’m having to keep a shitty stick in the trolley to fend them off with.

I'm invisible to most of the world. I can blend in anywhere. Most people don't notice me. I'm ok with that. I don't like public attention. I'd prefer to receive attention from someone who genuinely cares about me.
