In a galaxy far far away

Are there any in da house?

I remember back in my clubbing days the Love Parade was due to have a big day session on the Town Moor at Newcastle. 250,000 people were estimated to attend and we were so excited to go, but the fekkin council cancelled it due to crowd safety fears.

But, myself and my friend bought tickets to the after-party at the Metro Arena for the night time. 7pm till 6am and broadcast live on Radio 1.

In one night I saw Judge Jules, Danny Rampling, Dave Pearce, Carl Cox, Sasha, Paul Ovenfold and a few others I can't remember. It was unbelievable Jeff.

Any stories to share?

Bit of a dnb freak between the years 96-06.. but didn't get out much.

Catching up a little in older age though, last year at Milton Keynes bowl I saw

Mampi swift

Nicky blackmarket

Top cat

Jungle cakes.

Honestly though, I preferred every other stage better 😬

Born 76 spent most the 90’s raving every week. That’s how got together with wife and we had our first taste of swapping after one

Been to a few of the old school ones in our 40’s to relive it but nothing will beat back in the day

I've lost mine over time, probably due to moving house so much. They were great.

Other half was an original raver and still is he introduced me to it a few years ago, got into modern tech house/progressive stuff; Simon Doty, D-Nox and Dosem to name a few.

However we also go to the old school events, went to the first Sanctuary reunion a few years ag that was a lot of fun, going at end of June to 338 for clockwork orange, been to a couple of festivals too and other clubs in and around London try to do it once a month if we can.
