Perhaps some guys do. Myself I like a woman with curves my last relationship was with a bigger woman. Obviously everyone has there preferences, but for personality is really what clinches the deal. If your fun, bubbly, smart, friendly, easy going and can put up with my stupid self then I'd be happy to date. If your curvy that's just a plus in my book.

The truth of it is that in an environment like fab where the men are vastly outnumbered a lot will say whatever they can to get their knob wet and unfortunately a lot of women fall for it.

It's the same with so many of them saying on these pages how much they love older women but how many would be seen in public with these fat, older women? Take the chance of their family or friends spotting them holding hands with an obviously older, big woman? Very few.

Hey OP. On Fab, where people (men) are often looking for casual sex, they won't care about things in the way they would in a long term relationship (some of them). I've dated/am dating some truly wonderful men. And they've dated me - rolls, squishiness, large thighs, chubby tummy, big arse. Only once have I felt like someone didn't actually like me or my size. Not repeating that.

My point is - find your happiness and confidence and belief in yourself. If you want to have sex with people who won't be seen with you in public, great, your prerogative. You don't have to, though.

I (Luke) am only really attracted to what might be called a "larger lady". My ideal dress size is around a 16, which I know is average but it's not what you see portrayed as average in the media.

I really don't do slim. I'm always going to be more attracted to a woman who is a size 20 than one who is size 10.

I can't imagine not wanting to be seen publicly with somebody I'm attracted to. Hannah is size 18 and it has never occurred to me that it might have an impact on whether I would have a relationship with her or be seen publicly with her.

I can remember a couple of conversations with men over the years about individuals we find attractive in which they have expressed surprise based on the size of women I have said I liked, and I honestly couldn't give a shit.

It's probably many things but I do wonder if it's one factor. Although I'm a size 16-18 which technically is around the UK average.

There is also the complication of being fetishised for being fat. I have dated a few men in the past where I have felt fetishised for my body/size which made me uncomfortable and I ended things. They have no real care about what you're like as a person they just see you as a sex object and overly sexualise parts of your body etc.

Being a preference and genuinely desired is nice, being fetishised is not. It's such a fine line.

Dating is a minefield.

I have also had salty messages from bitter men on fab when I've rejected them or ignored them saying I should be greatful for the interest as I would get no attention in the real world blah blah. Sorry, I don't sweep up crumbs.

Fat or not, I chose to be picky and I'm not apologetic about that and I'm certainly not desperate.
