Aberdeenshire

Venison would be our most eaten by far although game and duck through the winter is high on the list too.

All sourced by ourselves too so not much expense.

Btw when stating the best meat take into account

Flavour

Price

Preparation method

Nutritional value

Texture

Otherwise it would be beef all day long baby!

Chicken or pigeon. Low cost, easy to prepare, easy to season.

Beef except it's expensive.

I love pork. Belly, shoulder, ribs but it does sit heavy on me so I'd probably say chicken as well

I don't like meat that looks like meat

Give me some pasta with a few slices of thin beef in a sauce and I'll enjoy it

Put a slab of meat in front of me, no chance - I wouldn't be able to touch a thing on the plate

The meat has to be incidental to the rest of the plate, not the centre of attention
