What body scars are you carrying from life’s adventures and how did you get them

Shark bite might just win lol

Bonus points if alcohol was involved

Somewhere dark and gloomy

Marks on my wrist from when I'd kinda had enough but I clearly didn't put my mind to it properly!

And a big gouge on my head from when I got chicken pox at 15 and thought it was a spot so I squeezed it. Wise choice

Have a scar running from my pubes to the top row of abs and not a very best one ha, also a circle one next to it where I had the temporary shit bag on while everything healed

I tell many lies about it like I was getting armour plating put in or I donated some intestines to someone who needed it but truth is it’s from having large intestine removed completely I had colitis since 13 and longer you have colitis the higher the risk of bowel cancer so I had yearly biopsies till one showed pre cancerous cell changes, in hindsight it was the best thing that happened to me as was in so much pain beforehand but always refused the surgery as they couldn’t guarantee the shit bag wouldn’t be permanent having the choice taken away was a good thing

6" and 4" scar either side of my ankle from a trimalleollar fracture repair....Metal plate fitted and pins

Alcohol was involved, but it was not self induced as I don't drink. Some arsehole thought it would be funny to spike my knowing I don't drink....Ended up breaking my ankle, was lucky I didn't lose my foot according to the Surgeon

I have one from the bottom of my neck down to my waist from surgery for Scoliosis and another on the back of my hip from the same op for bone grafts.

I don’t think about them most of the time cos I can’t see them but do tell people before I meet on here so it’s not a shock and they can say ‘no thanks’ if they want to.

Bottom of chin, bit of a d*unk injury. Tip for all you kids, don’t leave it for 12 hours to go to a&e or it will sting when they reopen it and inject into it for stitches.

Scar from hernia op in my groin

Large lump on my side from being bitten by a dog as a kid. Totally my own fault, we were being too rough with him, he snapped, and I was in the way. Pretty sure I got stitches

My war wound was sustained after discovering in my formative years that my endowment was not just for peeing and stirring my tea with. When I practiced doing tricks with it, I needed an emergency operation and circumcision, which it emerged my mum was advised to get done at birth but didn't heed the advice. One of the best things that happened to me though.

Somewhere in the middle not the.....

4"×2" scar and big old dent on the front of my leg after I developed a leg ucler when I damaged my leg in a fall ( no alcohol involved, was throwing myself down the ziplines at nuclear races). Could have been bigger as they pretty much removed most of my shin area.

Large gash on the top of my head from slipping out of the bath and banging my head against a radiator as a kid. Scar on my wrist being bitten by a dog. A multitude of little cuts and a huge burn on my right arm from being pinned against an over.. the battle scars of 25 years in professional kitchens!

Somewhere in Norfolk ask :)

Caesarian scar from labour.

Facial scars from a horrible ex.

Arm scars and leg scars from a time when I was in a dark place but I’m in a good place now.

Wasn’t sure if to comment on this thread as I always panic about people seeing my scars at clubs or meets and being put off. They to me are my life tattoos.

I have a scar on the top of my left wrist from a scalding incident that left a third degree burn. I wear my bangles to cover it.

Have a cigarette burn scar on my right hand from a careless family member.

Have numerous surgical scars.

Also have a scar underneath my big toe where I got run over and my toe sort of opened up under tyre pressure. The nail on that toe is also fucked.

Also have a scar on my eyebrow after a childhood incident on holiday when I was a youngster. It involved wet feet, a tiled floor and me needing the toilet urgently!

One slight one under my eye from when I was younger and walking the dog who pulled me over and I hit it off a kerb 😂

2 chicken pox scars as well and a few burn scars from various situations

One on my foot from forgetting I left a drink by my bed in a glass that got kicked and sliced my foot. Alcohol is as involved for that one 😂

North West

3inch scar on the left side of my head. Happened in 2001, few drinks too many drowning sorrows after a wake in Manchester CC and was knocked clean out, banged my head on a concrete step. Woke up in a pool of claret with ambulance man and police bringing me round. A night in A&E and a few stitches sorted me out. Feel very lucky not to be one of those ‘one punch’ horror stories.

Scars all over my scalp and a long one above my eyebrow and inside upper lip(days before gum shields for school kids) from Rugby.

Hernia, the snip and ankle op, and I’m only counting ones that need stitching.

And that’s just the wife. 🤣
