"Gradual weight loss may be less likely to have the body rebound with a substantial fight against the loss, by reducing its metabolism and other fightbacks, to get it reversed. The body wants you to revert to the normal higher weight Understanding this and set point theory makes long term weight loss maintenance much easier to manage. Reverse dieting and feed days( calorie cycling) have been key in me not gaining and getting through stalls. I think I’ve learned every trick in the book now

"All about calorie counting" It's one way I guess. I just put the steps in at work along with lugging stuff from A to B 😅👍🏻

"I (the bloke) have recently lost about 40kg through managing diet and now I'm exercising regularly. It was through an NHS program but unfortunately we didn't get to use any weight loss jabs. I still have a way to go, but I am now worried about whether it'll leave excess skin and I'm getting quite self conscious about it already." If you lose weight gradually, your skin will be better able to adjust, compared with massive, very quick loss.

Yes it would've been better to have done it gradually, but the program I was on focuses on most of the weight being lost over about five months, so it was pretty rapid. I'm very glad to have done it. Although it's kind of replaced one body anxiety with another 🤷♂️

"There are some astounding achievements that you've all got Have you tried referring/calorie cycling to get through your plateaus. I discovered it by accident. I realised that having a carby day or two seemed to reset my weight loss. I had to suck up the fluid gain but all of a sudden I would drop weight a week later so when I’m losing now I always factor in a refeed day every 7-10 days. That involves planning in a day of maintenance level calories but the extra calories are always carbs.

"I am currently on a weight loss and fitness journey. Are any other fabbers on one too or have been on one? I try and walk 15k a day as a baseline which I enjoy, gets me out the house. I am also looking into doing weights soon! Would love to hear your stories! " You’ve lost so much weight, you’ve disappeared

"People are saying they feel great after losing 3 stone, i wish i felt great, i feel crap Feel generally ill, very tired, weak, headaches, constant ear infections, a constant chest infection plus i'm struggling with my asthma. I eat well, i ate well before but ate more before. I've lost it over 15 months so it's not a diet change that's the problem.

"If any fellas is in any doubt about losing weight, think of it this way: If you want to make it look like you have an impressive pecker but you were only every going to be genetically meah and average, lose the gut. As soon as you lose the flab above your pelvic bone, whatever you have will be fully on show. If the flab is folding down over the little fella.......well......it'll always look like a little fella. Skip the penis pumps, magic potions and devices devices, dodgy ads online, scam promises and little pills, lose some of the weight and reclaim your length and gain all the benefits of better energy levels too." Not sure if it's true but someone suggested on here a while back for every 2 stone you lose, you gain an inch on your dick (or at least it looks that way).
