We have seen:

• Jack Whitehall x 2 (2nd time was amazing, MRS favourite!)

• Jimmy Carr

• Jason manford

• Peter Kay (shit wasn’t with the hype)

• Alan Carr

• Parenting hell podcast live

• Rob Beckett/lloyd Griffith (work in progress show)

• Micky Flanagan (husbands favourite)

• Mo gilligan (mrs second favourite because 🔥😍)

• Frankie Boyle (WORST!)

• Romesh Ranganathan (very funny man!)

Id still like to see Chris Ramsey (maybe their podcast too on stage)

Rob Beckett again

Mo again, trying to persuade Mr. to book

Not comedy, but overlap on tour would be good.

Also, anyone watched last one laughing uk!? Hilarious. Not sure id like a lot of them on stand up but seeing them in a ‘normal’ situation is much better. Like Joe Wilkinson is great for his wit and timing and funny comments but wouldn’t be the same stood telling jokes!

One of the best shows I saw was a pre-tour night with Lee Evan’s when he was trialling new material.

It wasn’t polished and some of the jokes didn’t hit but the experience was so real and raw , it was an amazing night

I shouldn't bother. He might be Hot Water's poster boy with edited clips of him going viral, but he's not even the best MC in Liverpool, let alone the best act. Once you get away from carefully selected clipage, his material is actually quite disappointing, unless someone is a super fan and already convinced he's great, in which case he could read a shopping list out and they'd love it.

Most of the comedians that make me laugh are long since gone. Morecambe and Wise, Tommy Cooper, Ronnie Corbett, Victoria Wood.

Romesh Rangansthan is funny though.

We recently went to a comedy club type thing...we're still waiting to start laughing and judging by the rest of the audience and the deafening silence so is everyone else. It must have been soul destroying for the performers

I went to one of these nights in South Wales and even though it wasn't a polished performance and he had his note book in his hands, I loved how he read the reaction from the small audience and used our feedback. He did however treat us to his bohemian rhapsody rendition as a thank you, and I was elated.

Seen Nick Helm for the second time last year. He was good both times but the second time I seen him some woman in the front row became unwell and he had to pause the show. We had to get our train so we missed him coming back to finish his set

Jimmy Carr was good. His audience raport is second to none.

Achieved a life long ambition a few years back and saw Billy Cononley live on his final tour.

Both amazing to see him live and sad to see how parkinsons was taking its tole. Highlight though was meeting him at the stage door after and getting an autograph and a selfie.

Frankie Boyle is by some measure the worst comic I've ever seen live, and by all accounts a pretty terrible person.

If you want to see a genuinely brilliant adult comic I'd try Jerry Sadowitz who is also an amazing magician.

I shot down Reginald D Hunter - he was awful.

Saw John Bishop at the NEC. Put me off big comedy gigs forever.

I've seen Dara O'Briain 5 times. Last time was a gig in Soho he announced the day before. 18 quid! All money to Shelter. You cant do anything in London for 18 quid.

I’ve not seen any ‘names’ in recent years, although there’s a cracking comedy night at the local arts centre which I pop along to from time to time.

But of the known ones, Rhodd Gilbert (also had an ‘amusing anecdote’ read out on his radio show once, Lee Evans, and (for those of a certain age) Rob Newman back in the mid 90’s who was bloody hilarious

Greg Davies had me in tears. Mickey Flanaggan was good but didn’t hit the same.

But, and this will not be popular, but, years ago, in newquay, in a club on the outskirts, Bernard Manning used to have a regular night.

Walking in there and saying "hey Bernard you fat bastard" led to some of the funniest off the cuff moments I've ever seen. Jaw aching laughter, ribs aching kind of funny.

Full send, no fucks given, encouraged and welcomed ribbing and piss taking from willing participants and the oldest of old school comedians.

Norwich ish

We go to local open mic nights and the pay what it was worth nights in London a couple of times

Also go to see podcast like RHLSTP, Bugle, All Killa No Filla when they have been in Norwich

Also went to see Jess Forteskew last year and M went to see Lou Sanders
