So which the cold snap coming i decided to get myself a late Xmas pressie of a space heater

Yes… unc is Middle Aged…. So sexy…

In normal situations i quite like a colder-ish house…. But when its really cold outside, i need to feel toasty

So what temperature do you keep your house?

It's set at 15d all the time but if I'm home and not working I might turn it up to 18 watch darts or football

18-19.5c

Even at that my heating bills are crazy. Anything above that wouldn't be far off my mortgage.

my back yard

It depends on which rooms you’re in as my kitchen is warm from my Aga this time of year and so is the lounge. But no central heating

In the winter I have my room at the same temperature as I have my car.. so 20-21 degrees

Next Door

Between 18 and 21.

Occasionally it might get turned up higher if its really cold in house.

Heated throws also helps to keep warm if heating not on.

Mines about the same but it's definitely lower than the average house

I've set the thermostat to be at 17 in the morning and on an evening, off during the day whether I'm in or not. I then fiddle with it if I'm too cold and it ends up around 20 most nights at the moment.

Mid terrace now and rarely need to adjust the thermostat as it seems to be kept warm, when I do turn it up it’s usually around 18

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

When I put the heating on I set the thermostat to 15°c.

Got log burner lit at the moment, but letting it die down a bit as it chucks out a fair bit of heat.
