okay people so I was a little bored this afternoon and thought I would treat myself.

looking through Temu I was after a telly but got side tracked with the lingerie sales.

so I bought a 5 differing colours of lovely knickers size 16.

has anyone here purchased from Temu?

is so what are your experiences and expectations.

did they fit.

were they comfy.

did they go the distance.

what was your favourite.

sod the telly.

My son takes the piss of my purchases from Temu - I have bought some naff things (dog collars - for the dog - were shocking, been thrown away), the boxers I bought from Temu were dreadful quality (they should have gone in the bin, but...).

Can you get the parcels delivered to a shop or locker pick up place?

I got an opening offer bought a load of tat that was all about a quarter of the size I was expecting, took them out the box, out them back in and shoved them in the cupboard

I've got stuff delivered to my work, no option of lockers here but I doubt there's an option in the UK unless they have lockers like Amazon do.

Anything I've gotten, I've returned if not happy.

Some you may be able to get a full refund on and get to keep them.

Underwear and lingerie I imagine falls into this category.

Never bought anything from

TEMU but have from similar like Shein.

It's a bit of a gamble til you get used to the pic decoding to know if it's a piece of rubbish. I still sometimes get caught out by things that are made from nasty unwearable fabrics.

Just the risk you take shopping online.

If it's not expensive I accept the risk.

I’ve only ever had good experiences of Temu. I found the stuff to be mostly decent quality considering the price.

Cheap crap along with Shein and the like.

Child sla@ve labour, poor working conditions, and these companies are awful for the environments

Their products are quite often laden with dangerous and toxic chemicals.

I prefer Temu to Shein. The sizing is accurate.

Exactly the reason I don't use those places....Forced labout; the conditions people are expected to work in are shocking, and I would not be surprised if those places are used as a front to hide other criminal activity

Temu are being investigated for breach of regulations relating to consumer deception, data breaches, sale of illegal and unsafe objects on too of other stuff. Would not touch them or Shein with a bargepole

I've considered the labour thing.

And I end up stuck on the thought that we cannot judge their normal unless we can change it to something better.

It's like the early disaster/ famine responses that did more harm than good for those in need. Good intentions aren't enough.

We can't erase what might be their only means of support without a viable alternative.

What if these places are closed down? Do you think they'll live or die?

Genuinely.

Better to use them so people don't starve, but also support efforts to drive up the government pressures for oversight and better wages/ conditions.

Maybe that's naive. I don't know.

Something to wrestle with, really with so many goods we buy that are made in China, it would be naive to believe that clothes we buy and electronics aren't also made in such conditions.

I mean the components to all of our smartphones are often mined by children in Congo.

Only the downfall of capitalism is the way

My bank account and Temu are not friends 🙈

I've bought lots off there the last few months. Overall, I am really pleased with the quality.

There have been a few shit bits, but nothing of any value,so it's not bothered me.

I have had some AMAZING fur coats off there 😍
