Are dogs the biggest cock blocks and mood killers?

I love dogs but there's been occasions my dog has literally cock blocked me. Like for example a few years ago I invited someone round to mine. Dog wouldn't leave her alone. Locked my dog outside my bedroom. He started whimpering and crying because he wanted to jump up all over her.

Anyone have any stories of their dogs or even pets being cock blocks or mood killers?

Mine’s really quiet (well, he snores but he doesn’t mither) if he’s got his bed in the corner of the room. When I’ve tried shutting him out, he’s a pain at the door.

He’s also a mood killer on the rare occasions I’ve not managed to get dog care on a club night, because I have to leave early.

Mine is pretty easy going and can lock him out bedroom for a bit and he just goes to sleep, I’d only not let him sleep the whole night on my bed though if my son or daughter are in and he can go in theres, my dog not sleeping the night alone go nobody ha

A friend of mine took me to her house, she has a dog she treats like a baby.

We were getting down to some fantastic sex when the little thing jumped on the bed and started staring at me like I was doing something wrong, put me right off it did.

I couldn't carry on and went home.

We call ours "Condom" coz everytime we have a cuddle and start kissing he'll appear and attempt to push his way in between us.

He knows to leave us well alone during sex though sometimes re-appears indecently fast one we've finished.

Yes! Our dog is affectionately nicknamed cockblock by hubby. He sleeps on our bed and if theres even the hint of any action he is up at us then jumps off the bed and starts barking the house down 😩 We have 3 teenagers in the house also so we do try to get away overnight at least once or twice a month

A friend of mine went to help a girl with her make up. One thing led to another and soon they were at it doggy style. At this point the lady's cat came in, saw my friend's balls swinging back and forth like a version of Newton's Cradle that no one wants on their desk, and clawed them

My previous dog would howl if she was locked out of the room I was in, so she had to allowed in the room too.

My current cats will literally find a viewing area & stare…..

This is partly why I don’t accommodate.

My old dog used to like being in the same room as me even if I was having sex but he wasn’t particularly interested in what I was up to but would normally just lie by the bed and only occasionally look up to see what was going on.

My Fab friends love my dog (probably more than they love me). He's a big softy and likes the attention they give him. However, he doesnt disturb us when we are in the lounge or bedroom because he sleeps in the utility room and does not whimper or howl when visitors are here.

If they stay over he loves the attention they give him in the morning when they come down for breakfast.

Sometimes, I’ll wake up and she’ll be flat out on her back with her paws in the air or makes little squeaks when she’s dreaming. "Mine is pretty easy going and can lock him out bedroom for a bit and he just goes to sleep, I’d only not let him sleep the whole night on my bed though if my son or daughter are in and he can go in theres, my dog not sleeping the night alone go nobody ha

Same! I could close the door for an hour or two but would never shut her out all night no way x

1000% never ever, dogs belong on bed with owners and others should accept that ha x

Absolutely! Mine has slept in with me every night since the day I got her, no man is changing that. If they don’t like it, they can sleep on the sofa haha x

Haha I agree, mine is in with my daughter on the week she stays as she likes sleeping with him but otherwise he in with me and despite him being a massive detriment to my sleep quality with his snoring and “running” in his dreams I wouldn’t change it for the world dogs are social animals and love sleeping with others I don’t see the point of having a dog but not letting them go wherever they want in the house x

Mine is only 5kg yet still manages to hog most of the bed 😂 but I find it so comforting having her in beside me. Sometimes, I’ll wake up and she’ll be flat out on her back with her paws in the air or makes little squeaks when she’s dreaming. They like to be part of the pack (typing this as she’s snuggled beside me on the sofa haha) x

That sounds so cute seeing her like that and hearing her squeaking ha little dogs are awesome, dogs are so amazing aren’t they x

They are the best 🥰 x

Which breed have you both got?

I got Black lab mate, I know what Sam has but I won’t be a prick and answer for her ha, what breed yours mate? "

Hahaha you bloody gent. And awwww I love Labs. I've got a Brown Staffy who is knackered and fall asleep on my legs 😂

Oh god yes. There's nothing quite like suddenly seeing your cat staring at you and some guy, in full judgement mode.
