Call me fucking lazy but I don't get changed into anything. I don't wear a work uniform nor do I usually need to wear typical "workwear" although I do sometimes need to stick on an old shirt and cargo pants for certain jobs. My job usually requires smart casual dress but I don't wear designer labels for work; just a decent pair of jeans, an ironed shirt and my boots.

I just don't see the need to get changed after a typical workday as I will have a clean change of clothes for the next day anyway.

Do most people not call it lounge wear? I thought it was very common. Smarter than pyjamas but still soft and comfortable.

I call it Loungewear. I don't think I've heard it referenced as "chill wear" but it's all good. 🩶

Well, I'm clearly uncivilised. I had no idea "lounge wear" even existed.

Just something else for me to muse over whilst I sit here in my boxer shorts eating a pot of instant ramen noodles wondering what the fuck I'm doing with my life...

I dont change my clothes after work unless I'm going to go out to something active. Otherwise I'll change into pj's with fluffy socks after a bath in the evening. Pj's are my loungewear, then at bedtime I change into a nightie, usually a strappy nightie as I'm always boiling in bed.... my husband refers to me as a lava backpack when I'm snuggling into him.

A lounge set, socks, slippers and cardi, if it's cold.

If I can't be bothered to change, I can pop up the shop in them.

They do in this house but I'm conscious that a lot of the terms I use are becoming outdated 👵
