"If you just change your name and you are on his hotlist he'll see the new name unfortunately. If you make a new profile, consider setting it in a different location with a different age and try a different photo style ... Having dashes at the front of your name makes you harder to find. Those things have been successful for me so far x " I don't want to start again  | |||

It takes some dedication to start a profile and wait the 2 weeks for the newbie filter to be unlocked and get verified, just to be immediately blocked and ignored 🙄🤣 The alternative is to start a whole new profile I would think " He's been kicked off for being nasty I gather. As he put it, entitled people who I guess don't want to interact with him. Then I workout it's him and block him again. | |||

" Who is verifying him immediately on the new profile?- it’s likely to be a non-genuine account too. I sympathise- I’ve had two - my worst stalker created 6 profiles over two years, contacted people who verified me and said malicious nasty things about me (Fab friends alerted me to this) and even turned up at an event when I was with my son. I went offline for almost a year. Thankfully she has given up. Fab didn’t do anything even though all the profiles were likely from the same IP address, she was being verified, and I’m not sure how old an account has to be to get through the newbies filter. I was on the verge of contacting the police when she gave up and went quiet. | |||

"It's beginning to feel like I have a stalker. He's now on profile number four having been kicked off again, that's a red flag for me. I've made it clear we will not be meeting but he keeps coming back. Not interested in chatting either. Blocked again this morning on a profile that was made 17 hours ago. Guys like this take the fun out of being on here. Apart from being a shadow and changing my username I can't think of any other way apart from keep blocking "Unfortunately each time they set up a profile you will have to block. We have a few that as soon as they rejoin (once a week at least) they look at us within seconds of joining. Lucky they dont know we can see they looked so we block straight away | |||

We've had one guy make probably about 30 different profiles (that I clocked, so maybe more), just to look at our profile and then delete his account before blocking was an option. I might be mistaken but I'm there's a way of bypassing IP addresses, so sometimes it can be near impossible to trace. | |||

Tbh I suspect that most stalkers are not that IT literate, besides even with VPN. When you're committing such a serious crime, I think the police can still trace you. And using a vpn and private relay makes tracking individuals by website owners all but impossible. That’s what they are designed to do, create anonymity. I believe there are ways but they are incredibly expensive. We have had a few stalkers over the years. Most are just annoying but one wants to out us to family. | |||

Could be one way to avoid being found again - at least certainly in the short term. | |||

I’ve heard from a couple of people that you can keep your existing profile open with all the blocks, so you can still get messages from friends who have already messaged you. Then start a new one 15+ miles away with a very different username, pictures and a slightly different age.
The stalker will keep looking at the old profile while you can use the new one. | |||

I pick and choose who gets to message me. I message them first and then they can message me as long as they behave. Usually men I've searched for near me or men I've met in person | |||

" My former husband thought it was fun to stalk me...until the police went round to his house.....I don't know exactly what they said to him but he never contacted me again apart from through the divorce lawyer. Lol! They like playing the game with you but somehow not with the police. 
they know people are scared to go to the police so they use that to their advantage.
I on the other hand wasn't raised to be afraid of the police, I used to study and work in the legal industry so you meet lots of officers and many times cops save my life by sectioning me with my mental health crisis.
I'm the worst person to stalk. I have no shame. lol! | |||

She started trying to add my Mum and siblings and everything without me knowing. It was weird and made me nearly quit the site altogether. I have something similar with a guy who keeps creating fake profiles that are really specific to my non sexual interests, so he’s obviously someone I have spoken to in the past (and I’m guessing didn’t meet). It’s pretty weird to think there’s some random loser thinking so much about me when I doubt I’d remember him | |||
