Yeah, I think I do, but I don't think I believe in it from a spiritual point of view, but more use it as a motivational tool to keep me going. I'm full aware that some people just have shit luck but if it helps me, I'm happy to believe in it.

I do but believe certain people are immune to it, one of my best mates everything we ever take the piss out of each other for happens to the other for example he had a heart attack which I openly attributed to being ower fat and living like a slob then a year later I had one, he laughed at the £1000 mot bill for my van and his next mot bill was exactly £1000 this is just a select few of the many instances of this happening

I know what you mean about the Brenda from accounts viewpoint and I do think that's probably what people see it as. Because I couldn't possibly get on board with a system that suggests that (for example) an infant who is suffering in the most horrific ways at the hands of an adult somehow did something to deserve it.

Karma isn’t about wishing harm on others at all.

Karma is not a form of punishment or reward, but rather a natural consequence of one's actions. It is not a force of revenge but a natural reaction. So reap what you sow is what it’s all about. Not wishing bad on others.

We see what we expect and, often, what we want to see. For some, karma can be like justice delivered - a payback

I don't think I believe in karma. It would be good to have strong research evidence and I doubt it exists. In part, if it exists, it might invalidate some of the fundamental laws of the universe

Our own behaviour is typically not random. We'll be influenced by our beliefs. Thus a belief in karma could affect our outcomes. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy then.

.

Sure, there's much we don't understand and it could feel just and proper that bad deeds get a return. I'm inclined to think that it's very unlikely that such magical forces exist, any more than many of the magical forces do

I don't believe in karma any more than I believe in fate, astrology, reincarnation or organised religion.

Otherwise people wouldn't get shat on from a great height in life when they've done nothing to deserve it. Nor do I believe that those that have had to struggle will somehow one day be rewarded, or that people who've grifted and screwed over others to get where they are will ever get their just desserts.

Life is simply a combination of random chance and the external influence of others in society around you, be that local and personal or on a national/world level. Much of life is beyond our individual control and ability to influence. We're living a life based on many factors we can't possibly influence - environmental, health related, political, economical.

Belief that somehow things will ' get better' may be great for motivation and mental health, but it's often the case that things don't or never will pan out. Imagine living your whole life thinking there's a 'grand plan' and it never coming to fruition.

Live for the now, be the best 'you' that you can be, don't be a twunt to others and accept that life isnt always a bed of roses and shit happens sometimes. It'll hopefully be a more rewarding and pleasant few decades on this planet. 🤷‍♂️

I don't believe there is any mystical , magical or spiritual force called Karma...

I do believe that if you play with fire you MIGHT end up getting burned; increase your chances so to speak .... but karma NOPE.

I also believe that if you treat people as you wish to be treated and choose your company wisely then you are more likely to find contentment and happiness ; steer your own ship , so to speak but karma NOPE.

I also believe that you can be as good and wonderful as you can be and SHIT will still hit your fan...... but that's not karma.

I also believe that ruthless bastards without feelings or care for anyone or anything else can be as happy a pig in shit all their lives... that's not karma either
