I draw but nobody would claim I do it well. I also paint and the same applies.

I suspect that I was famous and inferred great meaning into m'y 'art' I would have an exhibition at the Tate. 😆

I can draw, but I don't have the attention span. If the Children at work ask me to draw them something then I will

I can do real life drawings when I get time… especially eyes.

Can’t do animation at all.

Nope. Drawing and painting were never my jam.

I’m pretty creative but it’s been a long time since I have brush to canvas or carbon to paper. I never have the time to invest in it lately. I have been thinking about signing up to an evening course to force me to set aside that time.

Dick doodles though, I’ve done a few masterpieces 🍭

I'm not particularly good, but like drawing and painting. I did fine art at A Level and then took it back up again during the lockdowns. I have so many art materials... Pencils, acrylic and watercolour paints, pastels, charcoal, canvases and sketchbooks and a really lovely easel my mum bought me for a birthday... but I haven't done any for ages 🫣

I keep saying I will go to a life drawing class but never get around to it. I did do a pottery class around Christmas time but I don't think it's for me 😅

I wish! I've never been good at it. I'd love to be. Our eldest is good. They have countless sketchbooks and does a lot with XP pen. They even designed one of my tattoos!

This would be me. How do I go from zero to 'good enough for home built pottery studio in the garden' without all the crapness in the middle?

Be Beef. He was a fucking natural. The instructor was gushing (probably both ways). Part of why I cried. I could've coped if being shit was the normal thing. 😂

^ This is exactly me, so many boxes of art materials. I did Art as part of an Access to Higher Ed course at college. Not great at it, but I really loved it...so relaxing 😌 and I tried life-drawing. When the tutor looked at my sketch, she said 'Ooh, the model is going to be thrilled with yours' I was crap at perspective and had given him a HUGE penis 😁

Oh, doubly me. Being crap is one thing. Being outdone by someone who should also be rubbish? No! 😂

But I'm not surprised about Beef. I've seen the man make bread.

I've done a bit of drawing recently after a 27 year break (art GCSE), and have discovered it's definitely a perishable skill

Its soooo different from drawing/painting! It's a completely different type of skill. But some of it can definitely be learned with practice. I'm sad it made you cry though ❤️ don't let one class defeat you.

🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant!

I do believe that with art you don't need to be "good" to get something from it. It can be just a therapeutic process. And if you enjoy doing it, it doesn't need to be perfect. It's just about expression and the process, I think.

When I was around 14 I pestered my dad to get me an airbrush. Did a lot of art for a couple of years with that.

I was on a band with a guy that was a really good sculptor. He showed me this life size figure of a wizard's head that he sculpted. I was quite blown away by it, just the texture and the detail in the beard alone was quite breathtaking.

I have a theory that people that are good at crafting a song/ music/ playing an instrument tend to be also good at art.. 👍

I wish I could draw, but I’m terrible. That’s why I prefer taking photos.

I have life modelled, not much but a few times over the last year. Don’t want to do it too close to home so finding a session isn’t easy.

I’ve done classes but also online. I’ve met students in chat rooms that wanted practice and I posed for one of them a few times.

So if anyone fancies a fun cam session give me a shout?

I paint miniatures, usually for Bloodbowl but I’m far from great.

My favourite artists are Dali, Van Gogh, JJ Adams and Sophie Knight-Crow.

I should add that I’m capable of both posing professionally and un-professionally depending on the artists preference!
