....to spend in the bath?

Does it depend on whether you take supplies in (wine, beer, something to watch a movie on, snacks etc.) or whether you're just in need of an extended soak due to work, any other strenuous activity or the fact you've got a really irritating mosquito bite on your back that you can't scratch and don't have a handy tree lying around to bear scratch against? 🤔

I have fallen asleep in the bath many times. So I would say 3/4 hours is the maximum. Any longer than that and it’s a bit dramatic.

You know when your scrotal sac resembles a prune and the testicles have the semblance of sun-soaked figs.... that's the moment to get out of the bath.

I remember learning about trench foot.

Atleast I think it was trench foot.

I can’t get my head round baths. Where I come from we have showers. Even 3-4 showers a day due to the heat, physical activity, etc. but very few people have a bath in their homes (this may have changed 👵🏻)

Sure, a bath is soothing when it’s cold or when having sore muscles… but I’ve never stayed in one more than half an hour. I get bored. I’ve taken coffee, a beer, a glass of bubbles (not together). Food? To the bathroom? Er, no. 🤢

Now, jacuzzis I LIKE.

I had my first successful bath a couple of weeks ago. I could finally get out without help! But didn’t stsy longer than 20 mins

Like others, i think I've been in about 4 hours.

On a cold winters day, with movies to watch on a tablet..

With certain ailments I found baths calmed the pain whilst I was waiting for surgery etc..

But is it not too hot for a bath this time of year?..🤔

18 minutes and 23 seconds

That's my 'sweet spot' in the bath.

I love the idea of soaking, relaxing and chilling in the bath. But the reality for me is very different. I'll put in lots of luxurious products to enhance the experience, but 9 times out of 10 as soon as I've lowered into the water, anxiety rears it's ugly head, and I end up feeling really stressed, I start sweating and panicking and just want out. I probably spend more time lying on the floor after the bath, with my feet up on the toilet seat, calming myself down than I do actually in the bath!

As little time as possible.

I can't stand the thought of wallowing in floating skin cells.

Not weird!!!

I have a foot in both camps; can happily lose an hour soaking in the tub, topping up the heat every now and again, but can't get out without having a shower to finish! Gotta wash the scuzz off don't you!

If I start going all wrinkley it's time to get out usually 30 mins is enough for me as the water starts to get cold

It’s so long since I’ve had a bath I can’t remember.

If anyone wants to lend me their bath for half an hour… or maybe half a day, that would be awesome

Like all other things in life, it's only a problem if it begins to interfere with your everyday life and relationships.

So, Obi, if you find yourself calling work to tell them that you can't come in because you are taking a bath, or if you forgo a piss up at the pub cos you can't leave your soak yet, then you have been in there too long...... you'll probably realise its too long when that naked 25 year old ,anal loving nymphomaniac keeps tapping on your door and you turn your ear phones up to drown her out and pretend you're not in.....

Agree but know ladies like a bath and I’m happy to scrub there back or wash their hair for them

I prefer a bath. Showers are way overrated and are akin to something you have to endure in a cheap hotel or in camping or water shortages. They are handy for a quick all over splash.

The time worn cliche of 'sitting in your own dirt' wears thin with me.

Same!! What do you even do in there once you're scrubbed? It's boring. 🥱

Brum - ish

I'd not had a proper soak in many years, always preferring to shower.

Recently had one with L and found it quite relaxing. After 25-30 minutes, we'd had enough.
