No, not the boots!

If you're into rock, metal and alternative bands, is it still alive to you, and what new bands are you listening to?

For us, we love Millie Manders, Those Damn Crows, Architects, The Meffs, Wargasm, BabyMetal, Calva Louise and loads more.

I really struggle with supposed new rock

I think many are trying to be like the older rockers, same sort of lifestyle

They've been around for a while, but they are good, same as Sabaton. While She Sleeps, and Seething Akira are also good new ones.

The only time new music grabs me is if I watch a movie with.a new artist. Soundtracks and theme tunes can be excellent. Other than that, better the devil you know (I’m getting old)

We like the old, but enjoy finding newer bands, it keeps things exciting.

A guy I used to work with got me to listen to Babymetal, they're bonkers🤣

I still love Iron Maiden, seen them 17 times.

Not exactly new though.

Seen Maidenhead, Slipknot, Metallica, AC/DC so many times, and have got bored of them now. We need to support the newer bands, the headliners of tomorrow.

Not too fussed about finding new bands, there are plenty of old ones I haven`t yet seen doing the rounds - off to Crete in July for the Chania Rock Festival, Geoff Tate (ex Queensryche) is playing, Rotting Christ headlining day 2, Stratovarius, loads of stuff I haven`t seen

Rock is alive and kicking. Don’t be listening to Gene Simmons, listen to ACDC (really loudly).

Hmmmm modern metal often leaves me feeling somewhat exasperated...

My friends are really in to bands like

Spirit Box

Sleep Token

Hot Milk

I just can't on board with it.

I like Animals as Leaders, that's about the most interesting thing in modern metal, and even they're 15 years old now
