I am looking forward to the semifinals.If Trump v Williams is as good as their semifinal in 2022 I think of the top of my head we are in for a treat.O’Sullivan v Xintong should be a good watch as well.Both could go either way.In the end I think it will be O’Sullivan v Trump in the final

. Like your self’s stuck at work so I didn’t see any of it.Not looking good for Ronnie.There are 8 frames tonight if he loses 5 of them tonight he will lose the match and both players will have Saturday afternoon off.

In a way he is more matched harded than all of the players as he played 4 best of 19 matches just to make the first round. I remember watching him win a triple crown event before the ban and I agree with the comparisons with a young Jimmy White.

Yes me as well and Ronnie used to be his mentor, when Zhao was missing he was leaving nothing on and got the run of the balls but he deserved to win the match.Well done Zhao.

Zhao 11-6 up after the first day in his first World Championship final.At the start of the final I felt that Mark’s experience and tactical play he would edge it.I still feel that could be the case but he needs to start the 3rd session better than he did the 1st session.

. I think it’s a good thing and Zhao win was deserved.However sometimes mud sticks and Zhao has served his time and so should be allowed to have a 2nd chance.

Well done Zhao.I did have a £100 bet on him @6-5 when higgins and Williams where playing as I thought he would be the fresher of the other 2 players as he had a full Saturday off to recover.Was 8-11 once the match started with Williams and I think Williams lost it in the first session.

Pleased there was a bit of play in the final session as only seeing one frame if you bought a ticket would be not good.

Pleased Williams had a decent tournament

I watched Zhao beat Slessor and that match could have easily gone another way and we might be saying things differently.

. Yes Mark Williams lost it in the 1st session where there was a couple of frames he could have won to be 5-3 down instead of 7-1.I did think that Mark would carry the form he showed against Higgins & Trump into the final but it was not to be.

. Dominic Dale & Joe Perry are two new additions to the seniors tournament.Igor Figueiredo is the defending champion.I would like to see Jimmy White win it again. I believe it’s on Channel 5 so will try to watch when I can as I am at work.
