Why is it that when you do the washing up properly. (All plates, pots and pans cleaned and rinsed.) Why does the draining board still get scummy and grubby?

Because the water isn't 100% clean and will run off the stuff you've washed up.

I've literally just had this conversation with one of my partners as I'm very OCD with the order stuff gets washed up and which way up cutlery goes in the drainer. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️😂😂

I am also considerate of washing up order. The cleanest plates etc first, then the more saturated. Always forks in the drainer headsdown. Otherwise more residue water runs down them.

When is your 'Guide to a perfect kitchen' book being published? Can I get an autographed edition?

Has a certain significant world leader with a blue blazer and red tie been round your place for a shower?

Tbf it only happens if you don’t clean the shower every day.
