What is the reason for multiple accounts?

I’m not talking about couples who also have a singles account but people who have multiple

accounts as a single person on here?

Is it a way to get around a ban, or to self verify or what is the reason?

Personally I don’t get it. I struggle dealing with my one message every 90 days about my membership running out 🤣

So what is the reason behind it? Would it put you off if someone has more than one and you “stumbled” upon it

Single and couple accounts we can totally get.

But multiple single profiles from anyone makes us wonder what they are hiding or what have they done in the past to warrant potentially sneaking past people's filters/block lists.

They may wish to separate their social life (Fab socials, clubs etc) with their singleton one-to-one life, for whatever reason. Perhaps they also use a different account to arrange events or group socials.

I don't see a problem with people having multiple accounts as long as they aren't using it for nefarious purposes or unsavoury behaviour.

Some people who organise Socials have a stand alone account for that purpose which makes sense. Apart from that it's a decent bet that multiple singles accounts are for dubious motives.

There used to be a couple of local women who had multiple single accounts.

They had exactly the same pictures, were extremely well verified by exactly the same people on the same dates and one even wrote in her bio that she had more than one profile.

A couple of others claimed in their bio that they knew each other and weren't sisters but just really good friends. Their pics were almost identical as were they.

A friend of mine left fab 7 or 8 years ago because another woman was using multiple accounts to contact all her verifications and badmouth her.

Another woman who used to be a forum regular also left because of abuse from multiple accounts who all turned out to be a jealous woman she only knew through friends of friends.

I wonder this too, I'm half a couple, so do have a joint profile too.

Theres one in my area, she has 2 profiles, keeps one hidden and uses the other.

Both same sort of text and same pics, I wonder if it's to spy on people secretly or if there's been a ban on one of the profiles for some reason.

I had two singles accounts for a while and was totally upfront about it on my profile. One was for nsa cougar shenanigans. The other was very specifically looking for an older guy for a FWB relationship with a stag/vixen dynamic.

Said he got talking to quite a few women who had said no to him!

My ex made a separate account to hide his secret activity across a 2 year period

I stumbled across it accidentally and even messaged it once 🙄🙄

It took me months to piece it together and even when confronted with the hard evidence he continued to deny it. When there was no way out he got really angry (I did some research and realized he has very strong traits of a sociopath)

It totally fucked my head ... A few months on, he said he thought the 2nd profile was a way of protecting me...from what I'm not sure, other than his constant lies.

The whole experience has soured my fab experience and I'll never fully give myself over again to any person.

I'd say the overwhelming majority are guys posing as women/couples trying to get access to women and couples. The next bunch are women/couples with a side hustles as sex sells as there's always guys willing to give them a free lunch. The next few are the Big, extreme hung and model fit (could be set up by anyone) who no doubt get access to pics, vids and info for others to perv on or contact later. They are all set up to exploit at one level or another.

How many OF, telegrammers, snappers, twatters have you seen trying to boost their numbers from here, how many knicker sellers, snow and 420's.. if one get's banned or isn't having success the other profile probably does or at minimum keeps the 'genuine swinger' account trouble free.

Whilst slightly pessimistic and off topic, I'd say a good majority of hot pics are porn, content, and fan site creators. They get around site rules by adding disclosures like 'we video our meets'. Adding disclosures tells people in advance rather than them potentially being reported later. They might meet, but meeting creators or willing peeps, doesn't really add to the lifestyle but does promote and monetise on other sites.
