Of to Amsterdam with the wife. Where is the best places to visit in Red light area. With out being ripped off. Any other tips or place to visit ?

Go to fata morgana (about 25mins outside amsterdam with uber was about 40 euros) we went on a Saturday which was couples and single ladies night. Fun4two (rotterdam) is another place but not been there.

Oh Yeh that reminds me we also went to casa rosso, an erotica theatre... The show son all dya on a loop. We stayed for one whole loop. That was good better Than a peep show... We where there for a bit longer than hour and it's people come n go as they please. Can sit there all day if u wanted. Got a drink included in ticket price. Have a good time x

Was going to recommend Stedelijk, Scheepvaart, Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum but then reaslised you were looking for a different type of culture.

For romantic couples there on a quite night I'd recommend one of the up-market candlelit wine and cheese canal trips. Many years ago my former partner and I got a table to ourselves so downed 2 bottles of wine, ample cheese and enjoyed a lovely discreet groping session interrupted only by a mid-cruise visit to a gin tasting bar in the Jordaan.

Yes, Den Hague is nice (although I've not been to the red light area).

Utrecht, Haarlem and Maastricht are cool too. But it's hard to beat central Amsterdam even though it's expensive.

I wouldn't recommend Rotterdam to anyone by the way.
