After scanning the pyramids they have found 8 huge cylindrical structures around 600 metres deep

and two 80 metre chambers plus more interconnecting structures stretching 2 kilometres underneath the Giza plateau,

Any ideas of what they could be ?

But in all honesty it’s like Salisbury cathedral. 404 foot built on marsh land on a metre of reed bed foundations yet today we can’t build houses that last 2 years with no problems

Well what ever it is quite bizarre to say the least...

Lots of explority digs still go on in the outer lying areas that are not so well publicised in Egypt.

When I worked over there I had one or two conversations with LN people.

covered the spectrum of the giant stone cutters rite through.... now i might add these where blokes with high end university education under their belts ... but i engaged them with an open mind .. all of there knowledge interesting some of it a bit far fetched for me to get onboard with but non the less interesting people to talk to on the whole history an mystery of the country..

I tell you what else if found interesting.. the dam at aswan the size and scale of it but also the story as to it physically coming about you know the political wrangling and turmoil etc etc ..

Last time I checked there was a bit of argy bargy as i think Ethiopia was talking about damming the Nile somewhere up on its stretch...

It's some "researchers" that already have an unsubstantiated conclusion they want to prove using vague images from an untested technology in order to cause lots of public interest in themselves because they know academics that actually study this area would rip them apart for baseless claims and assertions.

The pyramids were once the top of huge oil rigs used by the Ancient Egyptian people.

This isn't based on peer-reviewed scientific study. The claim is that they've used techniques that can normally only image detail tens of metres into the ground to uncover things that are 600 metres deep.

I'll wait until someone corroborates the story before adjusting my tin foil hat.

There were. And thousands of them died. Mainly children too. They found a mass burial site a few years back I believe.

Stress fractures from load bearing heavy weight, malnutrition, diseases.

Took the shine off the Pyramids a bit for me. You like to think they had a team of hunky men who were well looked after building them. Not sl*ves and kids.

I read something the other day that they used the same equipment to scan a already surveyed structure and it came back with the same results and they’re now passing the results over to a independent research team to review/repeat the tests
