Been watching the first few series of Shetland over the last couple of days.

I've got a hotel meet tonight. If he doesn't show and the hotel has netflix there's a few things I've been meaning to give a go.

Halo on Netflix, was a little corny in places at the start of the series but it definitely got better so I actually really enjoyed it. Since being a Halo fan from the video games it was great to see an actually good series released after the old mini series they tried to do years back which was just meh. Looking forward to seeing another season which I really hope they do because there's a lot they can still cover in the storyline. Also loved that they used Jen Taylor to voice Cortana who also voiced her in the Halo game series.

We giggled at the episode with an 18+ age rating (the only one in the series). It's 18+ due to "sex scenes" but it only included him shirtless for about 5s and nothing more! All the violence and gore are 15+ age rating

In the west.

I’ve binged a few things lately.

Reacher. I couldn’t watch the films seeing as Tom Cruise is only 5 foot fuck all. Alan Ritchson is good but still not big enough going by the books.

I really liked Protection. It was a bit different and not all about violence.

Apple have some great series. I can’t speak highly enough about Slow Horses, Gary Oldman plays Jackson Lamb to a T even down to the sock that are mentioned in the book.

Red Lasso was just great and not just because of Hannah W. Ive started Running Point which is quite similar.

Shrinking is something different and quite emotional at times.

I’m also juggling Trying as they are only 30 minute episodes and are easy to fit in.
