I'm struggling to pick any Welshmen in there. A couple of token players that's about it.

Ellis Mee will be a very good player in a few years though.

I think he goes.. personally I prefer Luke Fitzgerald at 10

Other than Finn Russell, which other 10’s have stood out? Marcus smith can’t get in the England side at 10 or 15, you could always go back to Owen Farrell if desperate

He makes the squad yes, but he's not a starter.

Or take a punt on Jarrod Evans, I'm not just biased because he's Welsh, he's a local lad to me too! In all seriousness though, he's got a couple of years to develop into that level and a shame Gatland never gave him the chance. Genuinely hope he shines over the next few years.

I'm a Munster man so obviously bias towards Jack. I think without Crowley coming on against England we would have lost that one. Sam couldn't cope with the pressure from France, and he really struggles to defend. I think Finn Russell is the definate starter for the tour, Marcus Smith is gone off the boil. I think if Crowley had got game time in this 6N that he would absolutely be making the squad, but I don't think he'll get the call. Farrell will probably pick a Leinster squad anyway

The final Saturday…. Question time

1) how many tries do Ireland put on Italy?

2) how many tries do England put on wales?

3) can Scotland really give France a game… basically how much do the French miss dupoint!

So… who wins the champions?

And my favourite question….. the over/under on “Welshman on the lions tour” currently stands at 3.5…… so higher or lower?

While having a long history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Scotland has also turned in a remarkable number of underdog giant killing performances. so could be an interesting match.

Ireland for a cricket score, England to make a mash of it in Wales and France to batter Scotland.

That leaves France with the title

See… I have this nagging feeling….. at some point France have to go back to being “self destructive flakey France” and it hasn’t happened in a while…. And I have been impressed with the Scottish backs all tournament…

How much would Scot’s hate themselves in that not only should they have beaten England at HQ and been in a position that they could be fighting for the championship, but handing it to England if they beat the French

I am torn…. I think the Scot’s could do it! … France’s will have to blow them out 1st half.. because if it’s close with 20 minutes to go.. I do have it in me to trust the french!

To be fair, and not just because one of my grandparents was Welsh they will use today's complete trouncing as an incentive..

The under twenties last night showed great spirit in their win and having all of the home nations doing well is better for the lions ..

Bearing in mind doris is world playing of the year at the moment I think that would be 1….

Hugo Keenan is the best 15 on the planet at the moment.. so that’s 2

DuPont would absolutely be my 10… 3

A… don’t get me started on that World Cup draw was skewed…if you had the top 4 in the world having to meet in the quarters.. and England on the other side (remember that they only lost to SA by 1).. this isn’t vintage southern hemisphere rugby!

B) you talk about the quarterfinal s … but France beat NZ in their group… and Ireland beat SA in their group

I would take France’s bomb squad over the saffers version

A. The draws the draw...World Cup Finals are all won by a max of 5 points with the exception of 2019 where SA pumped the poms..

B. And??? They still didn't make it when it counted the most.

The French Bomb Squad won't win them a World Cup Final.

Erasmus,Robertson are so far ahead in their planning the rest are catching up and playing 2023 rugby. It will be a long time until a northern hemisphere team win a WC and only England will do that, forget about the rest..
