Ok, I have had probably the worst 6 months of my life so far, yet I know I have things to be thankful for, and lots of positives in my life.

My goal for this thread is for people to reflect on the good in their lives, rather than what's gone wrong.

We all have good things going on, but when the shitty stuff takes over, it's easy to forget the wonderful.

For me, I have two fantastic children.

I married an absolutely, wonderful man, less than three months ago.

I have a loving family around me, and that is a privilege, not a given.

I have a job that pays.

This is intended to be a thread to share positivity, encourage other people who might be struggling.

Please share what you find positive, help other people see the potential.

I have a wonderful new boss who makes me feel valued and has got my back even when I'm not coping.

I have an amazing husband who has sat with me for days through the tears and the mood swings.

I have amazing children, the eldest of whom came home just because I was sad and another whom is kicking me out of the house tonight so she can decorate my cake as a surprise.

Life is a struggle right now but I have so much to be grateful for

I tend to look around and yhere are always people who have been dealt a rather cruel hand. I am grateful for what I have but like everyone, there are always struggles and crosses to bear. Enjoy the good things and deal as best as you can with the rest.

Someone told me to write down bad stuff in a journal and leave space under it so in 3/6 months you can write what's happened since. Often you find for every negative, a positive comes from it x

Our kids are all doing great, and on the right paths towards better support for their ND needs.

I've had 2 lots of great news about my health today.

An excellent parents evening for our eldest. To hear your offspring are a credit to you, is always lovely.

Friends (old and new) that mean the world to me, and are super supportive and just wholesome beings.

This is just what I needed, and yes, the day to day things matter, more than the big things. I have so much to be thankful about.

Please keep posting. It may help someone who is finding life difficult just now.

It's not forever and it's also in how we view the situation

As part of a couple on here, I’m forever grateful that our relationship is as secure and respectful enough to take part in this lifestyle as swingers. I see so many hurting relationships, but find the happier (for the most part) couples are the ones that experiment a little and are a little more open than others x
