What's the best or most random thing you or your loved ones have purchased from the place of wonderment that is Lidl's middle aisle?

Nothing, because we don't have a Lidl near here, which makes me feel slightly despondent, and when I go on holiday I only book accommodation within a 10 minute drive of a Lidl.

The best thing I've bought as an aldi special buy is a knock off kitchen aid mixer that also doubles as a meat grinder. It's brilliant and half the price of a kitchen aid. Big, sturdy, lots of attachments. Great for baking.

Aldi used to be great- not so good now. Have previously gone to my local a few times for bread or milk and returned with a set of triple ladders, a work platform/scaffold and a nest of tables.

Latest thing from Lidl is a car creeper that converts in to a stool...probably use the stool more than the creeper though

Lidl trainers look like the sort of footwear contestants on Fun House in the 90's would've wore which is fine as it makes me nostalgic

The worst bit with the ladder and the tower, on both occasions i walked there as it was only about 1/4 mile from my house. As they were both the last one in stock i had to buy them and then carry the heavy awkward buggers home in the packaging...along with the bread/milk i'd gone for in the first place. Plus side, still use both about 10 years later

We've all been there! Along with trying to fit the IKEA flat packs in the car and realise that the boot won't close so you spend the next hour rearranging everything!
