Depends on the situation. A good whiskey should be had neat or with a single drop of water for the aroma to be enhanced without compromising the taste. But if people are drinking beers while you’re drinking whiskey, add something so you’re not drinking 5 per their 1 😂😂

Can’t drink it neat.

I make use of mixers. CoKe, ginger ale, or lemonade.

If you don't put a few drops of water in some whisky you're missing out on flavour. You need to experiment to find what's best for that specific whisky, anything smokey/peaty can benefit from it.

People are so weird about water in whisky.

You turn it into Bailey's and then add a bit more Baileys.

I prefer Maker's Mark, Bulleit or Woodford Reserve these days.

I'm all about the old fashioned.

Black Bushmills is good though.

Peaty, smoky, super smooth, the ones that don’t taste like Christmas cakes or peppery - I think it’s Isla ?

Would love a recommendation if there’s any experts?, I hate spending £50-£100 and then being disappointed

I like my whisky without the “e” single malt for me, I enjoy the Speyside Whiskies rather than west coast of Scotland ones, but my favourite just now is Highland Park

Well it’s spelled correctly…

Why would you ruin a beautiful thing with mixers or water it down with ice.

Sorry, not the drink for me. If I wanted a mouthful of earth and TCP, I could do so much cheaper!

IMO, whisk(e)y doesn't have the complexity of a good cognac.

I await your fury and disdain.

couple, us we him her.

Good grief it's not that difficult.

Macallan

17 year old sherry cask.

A couple of drops of spring water, not tap water.

Or neat

Sit back relax and enjoy.

If you don't like whisky that's cool don't drink it.

If you prefer Irish fine drink that.

But for the love of god don't ruin it by mixing it with fucking cola.

That for American swill.
