If somebody writes us a half-decent message, we'll reply. The vast majority of the messages we receive are absolute, utter shit and do not warrant a reply. Replying "No thanks" to them requires more effort and consideration to them than they have shown us, so they are not going to get one. You should also remember that replying circumvents any filters somebody puts on. If we block single men from contacting us, that filter won't apply to all those people I have replied "No thanks" to. Why should we enable them to keep contacting us when we're not interested? Why do you need a reply from somebody who is not interested anyway? It won't change anything. We don't have any responsibility to let you down gently. People aren't interested. You're just going to have to live with that. Lots of people we like aren't interested in us. Somehow we get by and carry on with life. You can too. | |||
