Android devices tend to be well ahead on updates and cutting edge tech, amd users are more open to exploring differing options and finding models that best suit their needs, and are willing to adapt if their needs change as they grow and mature. Apple users will remain loyal to one brand regardless of innovations elsewhere, this could be taken that they are unwilling to step outside of a small comfort zone and even when upgrading, stick to something almost identical to the last model, and are apt to run to the fastest shiny version of the same thing.
