Yeah, I see in END so many type 1 diabetics. Our health care might not have the finesse but no one is going to END here because they can’t get insulin

It's just madness.

Over here if you're sick you go see a doctor for free. Sure there's prescription costs but they're capped at under a tenner per.

Just. Isn't it a good plan to keep your population alive and healthy?

Looking after your health is important OP. Getting a check over now and again is something everyone should do. I'm sorry you're somewhere that values profits over humanity 💜

$40.00 for half an hour seems good value given her training, qualifications and experience. I am surprised you did not have to pay more.

Ours is free over here and since I turned 60 I have a request from my GP to go in and see her next week. If she does discover anything then the treatment will be free.

I love our NHS. Just a shame 14 years of chronic underfunding and mismanagement has left it creaking at the seams.

It wasn't my regular doctor ,it's my heart doc. Had a attack 6 years ago, ( two stents) so I've got yearly checkups, just took my word that I was okay

It's not $40 though. It's $40 with insurance.

I heard yesterday or today that insurance for a family of four is now $30k.

So it starts at $30k if your family never needs medical attention.

We can all afford to go to the doctor. It's just extremely difficult to get an appointment in some areas.

Do you feel your appointment was worth $40?
