So I'm a wheelchair user, and although easy going in person I never seem to say the right thing on here, which feels like it'll be a nightmare. I wonder if I'm right though?

What do you mean by "the right thing" and how does it connect to you using a wheelchair? Just making sure I understand the context of the post.

Correct...nothing adds up yet.

Something that sparks the conversation. Just this in addition to being a chair user

I'll be blunt and add apology if anyone is offended but,

Not sure what the 2 have in common? Are you saying you find conversation difficult because it's online? And nothing to do with being a wheelchair user, Or people struggle with you once they know your a wheelchair user?

It's very difficult for all men here and it can be too easy to pinpoint the responsibility for this onto other things - race, abilities, being generally unattractive etc. it's best to make realistic expectations here, so that each of us doesn't become any less believing in our worth and what we have to offer.

We will never be mutually compatible with anything but a very tiny minority. This holds for all of us. We may have tradeoffs, perhaps sex can be acceptable with someone we couldn't have a sustained relationship with and more.

Most disabilities are invisible and many here have them and others accommodate them or aren't aware. Get to socials, where we go and you will be accepted. Clubs are typically disabled friendly but you'll need to check each one, to ensure it's right for you. It could help you to feel less isolated and desirable OP

Well put and well said.

I guess, we don't get patience by getting everything when we want it.

There are quite a few wheelchair users on fab. Chat in the forum, get a feel for the place and how forum users interact. I'm not saying this will help in meeting people because only a tiny minority contribute to the forum . It will help you feel more included I hope
