Face pics... Trust us we are hot!

So recently have been lucky enough to chat to some amazing couples.

But a couple have stated they prefer not to share a face pic but to trust them I won't be disappointed.

Given where we all predict meets on this site may take us is it fair to ask someone to turn up on a blind date?

Oh and yes I'm happy to share what I look like

No, because it's subjective isn't it? What's hot to one person, is not to someone else.

It’s a bit off if they expect face pics from you first before replying.

Better or more fair to share at same times?

In terms of personal safety I’d be wary of providing a pic and getting nothing back

I always roll my eyes at people who describe themselves as hot on here, even if they are hot. I certainly wouldn't message anyone who states this, definitely not my type of people. I also think it's odd when people say 'trust me you won't be disappointed.' I bet they'd want to see my face though. I'm also less likely to trust you if you're asking me to trust you.

For us trust is earned not given, but it can be earned very quickly. Showing your faces tells us youre serious about taking to us, you are willing/asking for our trust and in turn we can trust you. 9 times out of 10 we send pictures first but wont continue a conversation until someone is ready to share back.

As a couple our play is built purely on trust, so if our playmates cant commit to that at an early stage its very unlikely we will be compatible (regardless of looks)

Personally I’d want to see face pictures. It’s not an unreasonable request and it’s nice to see who you’ve been talking to.

As for a guarantee that you won’t be disappointed. That comment doesn’t sit well with me and I wouldn’t accept it as an answer. I don’t have a type. I’m either attracted to you or I’m not. What’s considered “good looking” or “hot” is irrelevant.

Just my 2 cents.

“I cant show my face due to my job”

Sorry but we all have jobs or worse “parent groups 😱” unless you are a public figure or on TV your job isn’t more important than anyone else. We all agree to the risks in this lifestyle so if you cant accept that risk you need to respectfully stay home.

Hot or not, I'd never meet without seeing a recent face pic. They could be anyone and you might not find them that attractive, it's subjective after all.

Others may be happy to take that chance, but there are plenty of people who will send a face pic

I appreciate people want to keep their lives private, but we all do.

Years ago I was told by a bloke on here, that I didn't need to see his face to meet for a drink. I disagreed and just stopped chatting to him.

Honestly, I think this is wierd.

Although there are some on here who are happy to have sex with anyone. Most want to know what a person looks like before arranging any sort of meet.

It's a red flag to me, if they won't share face pics but would want to see yours. If they don't want to share faces at all, how will you recognise each other?

Lol. Makes me laugh when blokes start to message women who have commented on a thread but have given no signal that want to be messaged by said persons. Nuisances haha.

Although I will say it doesn't bother me when it happens to me, which is rarer than rare. As a single bloke, any message is a nice surprise. Especially as I've blocked single men from contacting me

Major red flag, tbh. Not as much the secrecy itself, but the fact that you're willing to share (or already have) and they're not. Trust is a two way street, as they say. It's gotta be mutual, imho.

And, like others mentioned, liking or not a face is waaay too subjective to be dismissed with "trust us", unless you're into that sort of blind date scenario. They could be top models and still not be to everyone's taste.

Of course it's your call. 🤔

Funnily this reminds of two threads on here on trust and lies. The trusting side of me says yes but be realistic on expectations, while the other half of me saying it’s potentially a bit of a red flag, that they can’t or won’t share a face pic privately so realistically if you don’t know all things you generally like to know to feel invested and good/ happy about meeting them it more likely going to be a waste of your time. If seeing their faces first is important to you, which I think it is for a lot of us then probably better saying a polite no thank you and cut your losses. Everyone is after and wants different things and it sounds like that might the case here with the type of meets you and they want x

If I've been chatting to someone for weeks or months, like I often do before meeting, I wouldn't see it as a red flag if they weren't comfortable sharing a facepic.

It wouldn't put me off meeting them if we had built a rapport by that stage.

What would put me off though would be someone telling me I wouldn't be disappointed because surely that's my decision and comments like that are up there with "Do you not know who we are?"

Awkward!

😐

To the OP, I think unless they work for MI5 and are deep undercover then it’s a bit rude to expect others to meet you without showing your face. And, dare I say it, a bit too much vanity on display.

I mean they may think they’re ok. You may think they’re a couple of howlers!

He hasn’t. I blocked him straight away after seeing his face picture (he sent it first as for his own suggestion) and recognising it was him. We still casually see and greet each other but I don’t think he knows.

St. John's

Never meet or even have any substantial chatting without face pic exchange. We usually require it in the first couple of messages and have found that any experienced legitimate lifestylers will easily reciprocate.

The reason we do it is that we don't let this part of our lives intersect with our everyday lives, a hard rule because we unfortunately learned the hard way. We live in a relatively small city and want to cut off those situations where we actually know the other people in everyday life and it can turn into something awkward. It's happened on several occasions that we've encountered people we know and it gets cut off right there in the beginning.

Also, let's face it, someone who says "trust me, I'm hot" actually sounds like a bit of a juice arse...lol

If I had been chatting for quite a while, and then I might meet up for a social. I wouldn't arrange a play meet without seeing clear up to date picture(S).
